Black Bear

January 22, 2016 So my love of black continues. I purchased this deliciously warm faux fur coat in the H&M sale and at half the original price it was a true steal and i’ve worn it so much in the weeks since I bought it. Unlike my other faux fur coats (yes, plural) I like that this is slightly cropped and like the others, so wonderfully effortless. It also has a slight dark blue streak running through it which adds such a nice touch, especially when the light catches it.

follow site Paired with my current favourite black jeans, black boots, grey cashmere jumper (now too small for my Mum, hurrah) and a signature messy top bun, I was ready for an afternoon stroll and well-earned, well sort-of, hot chocolate.

here I love finding new spots dotted in and around Norwich – I find that blogging helps you discover these relatively unspoiled areas which are just perfect for a quick outfit snap or two. I don’t think i’d stumble across them if it wasn’t for blogging either. It almost makes you feel a little ashamed that there are so many lovely places, shops and cafes to experience – right on your doorstep – which remain largely undiscovered. Although it’s easy to pop back to the same old spot with your favourite backdrop, perhaps I need to do a little more investigating and sample a few more delights while i’m at it.

I tend to find myself looking at other blogger’s photos and where they’ve done their ‘shoots’ in complete admiration though – especially if they’re taken in the middle of the street with so many people walking past. Perhaps it’s because i’m still such a novice but I always try and do my ‘blog shoots’ with as few people around as possible!
