http://trueptwichita.com/:321.714, It is terribly grey outside and as I type, I can hear the rain coming down. Thankfully, these photos take me back to a sunny and whimsical Monday afternoon last week. I wouldn’t normally pair Mondays with the term whimsical, but on this day we headed out for a spot of lunch and a spontaneous drive through the English countryside.
check my blog I know this jacket will no doubt feature heavily on this little blog but I am just so in love with it. Have I mentioned it was only £6? This kind of price tag (and quality) is enough to make you fall in love with charity shop buying in a heartbeat. It’s the anticipation of what you may find and the sheer joy when you find it.
With pretty gold detailing, a bomber style neckline and of course its buttercup yellow shade, it just pairs so well with a pair of jeans. I actually purchased this embroidered blouse on the same occasion for just £2. Come to think of it, this beautiful black patent bag is also from a charity shop, bought a few years ago. And the silver shoes? I do realise these may not be to everyone’s taste but I think they work so well and are something different to your everyday pump (I found a very similar pair, here).
So, in hindsight, I’m wearing a rather ‘secondhand outfit’ – but I love it and it’s simply perfect for those carefree days.
