Gone are the photos taken in luscious green meadows and pretty river side walks with the sun not setting until 9pm. Waving goodbye to the bare legs and pretty pastel florals, it finally feels as though Autumn has well and truly arrived. I know as soon as this season comes around the berry and wine tones mixed with mustard and deep reds comes into full spring but I am still obsessing over more neutral and blush tones.
I spotted this jumper in Primark the other day (you can watch my haul video here) and thought it would be perfect for the colder months, plus it’s so, so soft. I think pinks and greys create such a lovely colour palette and mixed with a few darker berry tones, perfect for the autumn and winter season.
I’m still pairing quite a few outfits with my beloved metallics flats but I think I’ll have to store these away soon until spring – I’ve got rather a long wishlist for new shoes this season, including a new pair of metallic loafers which look a little sturdier!
I was lucky enough to find this brocade detailed jacket in a charity shop recently for only £6 – it’s very lightweight so it won’t be ideal as the temperature starts to drop but it’s perfect to wear over a cosy knit. I’ve mentioned frequently on my blog that I do have a penchant for a vintage jacket as you can pair them with so many outfits.
