Rain Clouds

June 1, 2016

Resources Another week, another weekend away and another few days without posting! I really must look into scheduling my blog posts – more for peace of mind than anything else.

Source Purple is not normally a colour I’m accustomed to wearing (I feel like I’m saying that a lot recently – it seems the warmer months are making me push the boat out and try new colour palettes!) But, this is the very reason I bought it. That and the fact that I can’t resist a bat-wing cardigan. I find this style perfect for the Summer months as you can wear a simple camisole underneath.

Admittedly, this isn’t the best location but we were just about to take the dog for a walk after lunch (I changed into wellies, don’t worry).

I really, really don’t want to talk about the weather. But I can’t help it. We were in Dorset over the weekend and enjoyed glorious sunshine, beach walks and witnessed a few brave souls venture into the sea for a swim. And now this. It is freezing cold and hasn’t stopped raining. I do realise talking about the weather is considered terribly boring but unfortunately it’s a topic which is always on my mind. I have been asked many a time why I don’t live in a hot climate, where sunshine is guaranteed, rain is infrequent and a summer dress is your daily staple. My answer? As I look out of the window, wearing my coat indoors to try and retain what little body heat I have? I have absolutely no bloody idea.
