As I mooched around a few charity shops the other weekend, I spotted this little blush pink camisole – complete with matching pants! – for just £1.50. I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now as I love it styled over a plain white tee and paired with denim.
I wanted to come back with a simple and everyday casual outfit post after having been away for so long. This is a favourite outfit of mine at the moment – it’s casual, comfortable and pretty effortless. While the lace detailing on the camisole gives it a feminine touch, the slouchy cardigan and blush pink loafers pretty much epitomise my style. I’m sure I’ve spoken about my love for the faithful old cardigan before, but I’m always drawn to buying them – perhaps it’s because I pin so many images of girls wearing them on Pinterest! This one was a brilliant bargain from Sainsbury’s of all places – £12 in the sale!
A Spring Clean
I’ve been having a good old wardrobe clear-out lately too in preparation for Spring as I want to invest in more pieces like these. When I scroll through my Pinterest boards, there’s an awful lot of slouchy cardigans, silk camisoles, ripped denim and dainty jewellery, so they’re the pieces I’m looking to buy more of over the coming months!
I turned 28 this week and I feel like my style has evolved so much over the last decade – like I’m sure most people’s has! While I’m still really discovering what exactly my style is, I’m feeling pretty happy with the pieces in my wardrobe, both new and old, at the moment.
