click As I popped the camera in my bag, my boyfriend asked if we were photographing that outfit. Meaning, did I plan to take a couple of snaps of this shirt with those jeans, or had I packed another outfit in my bag. Perhaps it’s because this is such a simple outfit or maybe because he knows this is my ‘cosy shirt’. To be honest though, that’s the whole reason I wanted to photograph it, because this is my favourite kind of outfit.
go to site I bought this shirt (originally from Topshop, but I found a similar one, here) from eBay a couple of years ago – it’s one of those pieces that I know will always have a place in my wardrobe, however worn or old it gets. I love that it’s brushed cotton, that it’s striped (obviously), that it’s got that ‘boyfriend’ fit and that it is just so darn comfy. Shirts such as these are an everyday wardrobe staple, they deserve a special place on your clothing rail and a decent iron after each wash – I promise I did iron this prior to these photos being taken but unfortunately it was a rather hot day and it got creased sitting in the car.
cheap generic Misoprostol no prescription I must say, I love the colour palette of this outfit too – can I say that without sounding too brash? I just think the pale blues, greys and metallics work well together. These silver flats, if you haven’t heard – I do harp on about them on a regular basis – are from Topshop, but I fear they are no longer available. I know this because I was planning on buying a second pair as a back up the other day! This pretty metallic clutch is a Whistles number from last year, but I found a similar one here whilst browsing their website (leading to a few new additions to my never-ending Whistles Wish List.)
Sometimes, I wish I could just pull this look off everyday but then I remember that I do enjoy wearing dresses and a inordinate amount of florals.
