I absolutely adore the backdrop of these photos – probably one of my favourite houses in Norwich – but, in hindsight, the sun is perhaps a little too bright (don’t worry, I’m not complaining!) I loved wearing this little outfit though and the colour palette is exactly what I’m loving right now: blush pinks and nudes.
I spotted this pretty blouse in a charity shop a few weeks ago for £3 and it’s quickly become one of my favourite pieces – it’s so easy to wear and goes with pretty much anything. This is one of the main reasons that I love having a
little big rummage in charity shops – you find little gems that you end up wearing so regularly but they cost you such little money. Also, and perhaps most importantly, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll see anyone else in the same outfit. Winner!
Similarly, I found this skirt on eBay a few years ago now and paid less than £5 I think. I actually wish it was a little longer but I popped a poofy petticoat underneath to give it that 1950’s flare! I added this skinny burgundy belt too – I love mixing dark burgundy with pale pinks, it makes me pine a little for Autumn. Not the weather you understand but the beautiful, rich colours that are so wonderfully reminiscent of the season. It’s funny isn’t it, we (well, I) spend so long wishing for the summer months, dreaming of those long evenings and days spent at the beach, but as soon as it arrives, we’re thinking of Autumn, boots and hot chocolate.
I bought these heels a few months ago for a wedding (similar here) They got quite scuffed – obviously – but they’re surprisingly comfortable to wear and look lovely with a full midi skirt.
