White Jeans | Edit II

June 29, 2016

Here’s the second outfit in my little edit series celebrating the wonderfully summery white jean. I must say here, and if you’re a blogger, I’m sure you can relate to this: When you really like your outfit but it simply does not photograph well. It’s so disappointing! I’m absolutely not saying this is to do with my lovely photographer (he’s a star for putting up with me) but when I was going through and editing them all, I felt as though they don’t give a very good recommendation or representation of how much I love this little outfit.

Now I know that we can all be a little self-critical at times, more often than not it’s completely unnecessary, but when you have an idea in your head of how you would like photos or an outfit to look, it’s easy to get disheartened!

If I’m honest, I think it’s because I was hangry at the time too #reallife.

adjective -grier, -griest

(jocular) irritable as a result of feeling hungry

blend of hungry and angry

I absolutely love this kimono, it’s such a unique summery piece that I picked up from New Look a few years ago and I always look forward to bringing it out again when the weather warms up. It was one of those pieces that I saw online, checked they had my size and ordered it immediately. I adore the embroidery detailing too, I think that’s what drew me in. I do love a bit of floral!

I haven’t taken these gold loafers off my feet either, I have spoken about them previously but they are seriously comfy, perfect for summer and give a generous nod to the oh so wonderful metallics trend.

As I said in my previous post, white is such a perfect base colour and more often than not, as you’ll see in these mini edits, I pair white with white. If I knew I was never going to get muddy or dirty again (I’m pretty clumsy) I would wear all white everyday.

Love, Harriet
